No Baptism Equals Damnation

Mark Chapter 16:16 says, He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

I don't know how much straight forward it can be however there would be some who still argue that baptism is not necessary for salvation. I don't know about you but I think the word damned is pretty much as far away from the word salvation as you can get.

It really is quite simple if you believe then you get baptize and if you don't get baptized then obviously you don't believe.

The word damned means condemned, to give judgement against, to judge worthy of punishment. Are people who sprout about there being no need for you to be baptized really caring for your souls?

If you are not baptized then you are damned! Is this what it is like to be damned...

Luke 13:28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

Or perhaps this is what it is like...

Revelation 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone

Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet [are], and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever

Revelation 20:14-15 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

I don't know about you but that doesn't sound too good to me. Being damned is obviously not worth it so why do so many false teachers decieve people by telling them baptism isn't necessary?

The word of God is clear on this matter. Don't listen to the decievers but rather obey God and be baptized the Bible way. Full immersion baptism as a person old enough to believe and decide for yourself.
