According to the Christian faith, the salvation comes through the baptism. The version comes from the plain command from the God, which finds its place by way an instruction from Bible. By undergoing the process- is it by sprinkling or pouring or immersion. The person undergoing baptism signifies his acceptance of Christianity by its very fundamental commandments. Human beings need a savior to pay for the sins of fellow being, traveling on the path of ignorance. Unless one gets the Savior's guidance and bliss, he can't proceed to the path-immortality. And for want of it; he will be heading for deaths- till the ultimate incarnation for immortality. The Bible says that we are saved by Christ's life, while reconciled to God. The Baptism Process & Its Adoption by Different Communities:
According to the practice of Christianity, infant baptisms are the baptism of young children or infants. Most Christians, including Catholics, Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, Assyrian Church of the East, Anglicans, Lutherans, Presbyterians, Continental Reformed and Methodists practice infant baptism. Most Christians baptize their baby by either pouring water (affusion) or by sprinkling water (aspersion) on the child. Some Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic traditions baptize their babies by totally immersing them in the font. The Outfit Part of Baptism: Although, no specifics are required as a custom, many parents and godparents choose to dress their babies in christening gown for the ceremony. These Christening Gowns are handed down from generation to generation, already used by the earlier generations' children of the family. The traditional outfit is normally white or off-white, having many laces, trims and aesthetic designs over it. In the old customary baptisms, the similar kind of gown was used for both boys and girls alike. However, the modern day baptizers go for christening outfits made of white or off-white color fabric, consisting of romper with a vest or other accessories. After the ceremonies went over, these outfits are preserved as very special events of the family. The practical details of the baptism ceremony differ from various sub-groups from Christianity faith.
