You Reject God If You Don't Get Baptized

Luke 7:29-30 And all the people that heard [him], and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.

But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him.

It's amazing how mankind hasn't changed all that much over the centuries. Sure we have modern technology, dress more spiffy and all of that stuff but underneath we're pretty much the same. And it's still the sinners, the battlers, the poor that tend to heed the word of God while the religious leaders (Pharisees) and the lawyers (those who wrestle over various points of scripture and get it wrong) still squabble and argue over something that is meant to be simple.

There are two sides and two different types of people. Those who JUSTIFY God by being baptized and those who REJECT God by not being baptized.

I don't know about you but I reckon God is just a tad smarter then any false preacher blabbering on out there. Do you want to justify God or reject him? It really is that simple - get baptized or don't. But please spare us the stupid arguements as to why you don't get baptized. You are rejecting God - end of story.

They can wrestle over this point of scripture or that point, they can preach as loud and as persuasive as they can but the fact remains they are rejecting the counsel of God if they don't get baptized.

The Counsel Of God.

Counsel also means advice, will, purpose.

How's that! By refusing to be baptized they are rejecting the advice of God! They are rejecting the will of God. They are rejecting God's purpose!

Yes baptism is apart of God's plan and purpose towards us. How dare we mere mortals tell our creator we know better then him.

Dear friends don't allow yourselves to be mislead on this matter by smooth talkers. They may dress professionally and speak eloquently and even appear Godly but if they are preaching another gospel they are no more then wolves in sheep's clothing.

2 Corinthians Chapter 11 verse 14 says, And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

It doesn't matter how good they look or eloquently they speak if it is false doctrine you should leave. Yes, if you are listening to a minister who is telling you that you don't have to be baptized which is clearly unscriptural and rejecting the counsel of God then more fool you if you stay with them.

Don't reject the counsel, advice of, will of, wisdom of, plan and purpose of God like the Pharisees and the lawyers did but rather justify God by obeying what he says and be baptized.
