They That Gladly Recieve God's Word Get Baptized

There is so much dribble coming out of the mouths of false preachers when it comes to the importance of water baptism that it would be laughable if it wasn't for the fact that we are dealing with the blatant disregard of God's word.

Stupid arguements such as baptism is a work and therefore is not necessary is ludicrous to say the least.

The simple fact of the matter is if you believe God then you gladly get baptized as clearly stated in Acts Chapter 2 Verse 41 which says, Then they that gladly received his word were baptized:

Obviously if you don't want to get baptized or if you want to twist other scriptures around to fit in with your view point of avoiding water baptism then you don't believe the word of God. You are clearly NOT gladly receiving the word of God.

I stand in absolutely amazement at so called modern day experts who deny that water baptism is necessary. They are dangerous to the extreme when they talk others out of the simplicity in Christ.

Let the word of God speak. Stop listening to some man or womans opinions, especially when those opinions are so far removed away from the word of God.

Rather listen to someone who was there at the time. Someone who has first hand knowledge of what God wants. Someone who walked and talked with Jesus Christ. Someone who we should respect far more then any Johnny come lately who has alterior motives in these last days.

Peter is that someone who I am talking about. Read it for yourself from someone who was there. In Acts 10 verse 48 Peter COMMANDED them to be baptized.

That's right he COMMANDED water baptism for those who believed. It wasn't a suggestion, it wasn't an optional extra, he considered water baptism so important that he commanded it!

Let's look another clear example of believers being baptized. In Acts Chapter 8 verse 12 we read: But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

When they believed they were baptized. Do you think that true believers would have objections? Do you think they would have said to Phillip or Peter or to any of the disciples - Oh, hang on a minute baptism is a work so we won't obey that part of the gospel, thanks but no thanks?

Of course they wouldn't do such a thing. You know why? Because they believed!

Yes my friends no matter how good an arguement the nay sayers come up with against the necessity of water baptism or how Godly they may appear, or how knowledgeable they may sound the fact remains if they dispute it they in reality do NOT believe the word of God.

Who are you going to believe on the issue of water baptism? Peter, Phillip, all of the disciples, Jesus, The Bible - or some wolf in sheeps clothing who disagrees with all of the above?

Don't let these false prophets rob you of the joy that comes from obeying the truth. If you believe then you will without question get baptised in water.
